Live Update

TYPOlight features a live update option which allows you to update all core components by the push of a button. Always updating to the latest release provides more features and increases security of your website. If there would ever be a security flaw, it could be fixed in minutes (and there was only one flaw in the last years!).

Extensible

I always go by the rule that making changes to the core is not allowed. Otherwise you would not be able to use the live update anymore, or changes would be lost. Thankfully, TYPOlight is built upon a powerful framework which makes it very easy to extend the core system while still maintaining full compatibility with other modules.
